It’s already November and now I am serious about this blog page. Since Halloween just happened don’t you ever wonder what to do with the pumpkins? Well did you know that pumpkins are rich in Vitamin A and C, beta caroteen, potassium,zinc and other phytonutrients. It is regarded as a good source of antioxidents to fight free radicals. It is also a natural alpha hydroxyl acid and enzymes. This is why you will see salons promoting pumpkin peels. It will naturally exfoliate your skin, moisturize and provide nutrients. Did you know how easy it is to make?
Here is the basic recipe: 1 cup pumpkin puree, 1/4 cup soy, or dairy milk, 1/2 cup of honey.
You may add rose oil to reduce inflammation, ground oats for a mask like effect, or even a crushed aspirin to intensify the peeling effect.
Apply it to your face and or your body for 15 mins, then wash off with warm water. Your skin will feel as soft as if you went to a salon.

By the way, if you have a dog, pumpkin is great for them if they have a sensitive stomach. Pumpkin puree and cottage cheese will settle most minor doggie tummy issues.
